The subject of this paper is an adult male burial of Medieval date from Wharram Percy, England. The skeleton was subject to gross, microscopic and radiological examination. The pathological changes found were primarily blastic, consisting of deposits of fibre bone on periosteal and, especially, on endosteal bone surfaces. The changes are indicative of metastatic carcinoma, most likely of prostatic origin.
